IFM Efector IFS206 Apa itu Sensor?
Sensor adalah komponen yang dapat digunakan untuk mengkonversi suatu besaran tertentu menjadi satuan analog sehingga dapat dibaca oleh suatu rangkaian elektronik, dibidang industri sensor digunakan untuk mendeteki/mengukur sesuatu dari variasi mekanis, magnetis, panas, sinar dan kimia menjadi tegangan dan arus listrik. Sensor merupakan komponen utama dari suatu tranduser, sedangkan tranduser merupakan sistem yang melengkapi agar sensor tersebut mempunyai keluaran sesuai yang kita inginkan dan dapat langsung dibaca pada keluarannya.
Controller adalah suatu komponen, alat, atau peralatan (berupa mekanis, pneumatik, hidrolik, elektronik atau gabungan darinya) yang mampu mengolah data masukan dari perbandingan respon plant (hasil pembacaan dari keluaran plant) dan referensi yang dikehendaki untuk dikeluarkan menjadi suatu data perintah atau disebut sinyal kontrol. Controller memperoleh informasi dari measuring device seperti sensor dan alat measuring lainnya dan dalam bidang industri, sensors dan controller itu saling berkaitan untuk menghasilkan suatu data yang disebut sinyal kontrol.
